Through this path, Crystal was introduced to a former North Carolina Appellate Court judge moving to Charlotte from Raleigh and returning to private practice where Crystal joined him. Throughout their time together, he taught Crystal how to assist in catastrophic injury cases, including medical malpractice, products liability, auto collisions and wrongful death cases. Crystal further developed her skills as a litigation paralegal, beginning trial preparation the first day a client is hired. Armed with her knowledge, Crystal now specializes in investigation, issue simplification, creative exhibits and the use focus groups to assist in trial prep. Throughout her career, Crystal has assisted in hundreds of very successful catastrophic injury cases throughout North Carolina.
After 20 years of paralegal work, Crystal decided to try her hand as an entrepreneur, where she bought into a franchise and opened and operated three locations in the Bluffton, South Carolina area. Ten years later, she sold her franchise business as her husband received a promotion and was relocated to Georgia. After relocating, Crystal felt led to return to her roots of helping the injured and she was fortunate to meet and join Ben Musgrove’s team in 2020.
When she is not working, Crystal enjoys traveling abroad with her husband, Scott, caring for her mother, and renovating houses.
